Everything in my wallet was still there except for the cash and the book of stamps. So that's nice, no hassling with replacing my insurance cards or driver's license or anything.

It is raining cats and dogs here, a big fat storm full of water and wind, blown in on the Pineapple Express. I've been longing for a place that has weather, so this is a nice change, though it's sad to not ride my bicycle around (I may go buy some cheap rain pants). It's warm enough to leave the window open to hear the rain, which is a rare treat here: usually when it's raining it's below 60F and windy, so it's no fun to have the windows open.
