I sent my Mac in for a new optical drive. Foolishly I did this before getting a laptop from my new job. Now I'm stuck on my dinky OLPC for who knows how long, because my ThinkPad sort of died. Serves me right for not having more spare hardware, right? My older ThinkPad is so old it doesn't have built-in Ethernet. A friend just pointed out the OLPC can take a USB keyboard, and I do have one of those, but it's been a challenging day.
