A bit out of it this week, between Sunday night and trying to read fiction again. I think I'll take a break from my library books and try to get some work done.

I'm turning 30 at the end of January. I don't really know what to think, except an extended version of what I think every year, which is something along the lines of "Huh, I have no idea what I envisioned my life would be like, but this wasn't it." Most often, that's followed by "Oooh, cake and presents!" and I leave all the introspection off for another time.

The government is expanding abstinence eduction to reach those of us up to age 29. I wouldn't mind if it would distract the Republicans from invading countries and ruining the economy, but those seem to be two things they really enjoy doing, and this is just to keep the right-wingnuts happy.

Makeing music matters more to me than I'm usually aware of.
