See, it's not just me and my friends who are pissed. And check out this nifty histogram-map thinger.
So I had a job interview today! I spent an hour or two with the VP of Engineering, doing this development technique (XP) they use, especially this way of programming where you write the automated tests for your code before the code itself. During the interview some of my wants and desires for a new job crystallized: namely, I really don't want to work in Java any more, and I really don't want to work in a Windows environment. Not good signs, since I was interviewing to do Java on Windows. But I'm pretty sure they're going to save me the trouble of turning them down: they have other candidates who already have substantial XP experience, so given the nature of their programming team, I wouldn't hire me if I were them.
