potholes.

The interview went okay, I guess. I think the engineering VP is a bit of a degree snob: he went to MIT and evinced audible disdain at Skidmore, asking me why I went there, and telling me that his son's girlfriend went there "to ride horses" and the family makes fun of her for it.

The CEO seemed not to care one way or another and even did a handwave at the VP's MIT education. If I get a second interview, I think I will bring it up with the VP; I have enough bullshit in my life, thanks.

People have found some intractable problems with the code I wrote for UCSB, all of which involve the database sucking rather than bugs in my code as such, but it means I'm probably going to have to rewrite some of it to handle the database stupidity. And there are other things.

I am surly.
